Ironman 70.3 Muskoka

Ironman 70.3 Muskoka is done, and what a day it was. We woke up early, showed up ready to race, and the training absolutely paid off. The swim, bike, run, hills, heat, nerves, and all the little race-day moments came together in the best way. Speed is optional, but today it was fast. Really fast. Coach Rachel had an incredible race, setting a new PB of 5:30:01 and taking 2nd place in her age group. Coach Robert also landed a PB with a 5:21:42, earning a very dramatic and deeply humble 15th place in his age group. The consistency, the long days, the tired legs, and the commitment to the process showed up when it mattered. Now we recover, reload, and get ready to slug it out in Ottawa.
