Our Races
Our Ironman journey has been filled with unforgettable races that tested our limits and celebrated our passion for the sport. From grueling courses in extreme conditions to breathtaking venues around the world, each event brought unique challenges and incredible moments. These races aren’t just about the miles—they’re about the stories, the breakthroughs, and the memories we’ll carry forever. Here are some of the most remarkable race experiences that have shaped who we are as athletes — and we’re just getting started! With new races on the horizon and redemption in our sights, the next chapter of Rapid Snail Racing is already underway.
Ironman Ottawa
August 2, 2026

Robert and Rachel
Coach Robert and Coach Rachel are once again heading back to Ironman Ottawa — this time, ready and fueled by redemption. Last year’s race brought its share of lessons, challenges, and unfinished business, but that’s exactly what makes this return so meaningful. With renewed focus, refined training, and that trademark Rapid Snail grit, they’re coming back stronger, smarter, and hungrier than ever to conquer the course. Ottawa, get ready — the snails are rolling back in, and this time, they’re here to finish what they started. 🐌🔥
Ironman 70.3 Muskoka
July 5, 2026

Robert and Rachel
On July 5, 2026, Coaches Robert and Rachel head to Ironman 70.3 Muskoka for their pre race race on the road to Ironman Ottawa. This is the dress rehearsal before the big show, where the goal is to shake out the systems, test the pacing, dial in the fueling, and pretend the nerves are totally under control when they absolutely are not. Equal parts strategy, fitness, and low grade panic, Muskoka is where the chaos gets one last test run before Ottawa. Speed optional. Execution mandatory.
Seaton Scramble 50K
May 9, 2026

Robert and Rachel
Coaches Robert and Rachel are heading into new territory on May 9, 2026 as they take on their first ever 50K trail race at the Seaton Soaker. Nervous systems are fully activated, confidence is questionable, and trail shoes are being laced with just a little extra panic. This one is going to be equal parts grit, snacks, mud, and poor life choices, but they are showing up ready to see what 50K of chaos feels like. Speed optional. Survival very much mandatory.
Patagonman
December 7, 2025

Robert
Patagonman wasn’t just a race — it was a full-day lesson in patience, grit, and self-discovery.
From a pre-dawn ferry jump into icy Patagonian waters, to a brutal mountain bike ride through relentless wind and elevation, to a trail marathon that asked for everything I had (and then asked for more), this was endurance in its rawest form.
The full Patagonman Race Report is now live, along with a video montage that captures the moments words can’t fully explain — the uncertainty, the support, the breakdowns, and the breakthroughs.
This finish belongs just as much to the support crew as it does to the athlete. Endurance is never solo.
