Ironman World Championships

Racing at the Ironman World Championship in Kona in 2019, my 15th Ironman, was the pinnacle of my triathlon journey—a dream years in the making through the Ironman Legacy program. The legendary course and electric atmosphere were everything I had imagined, but the day brought more emotional challenges than physical ones. Memories of the sacrifices, struggles, and support that had carried me there weighed heavy as I pushed through each mile. Crossing that finish line was a release of years of determination, gratitude, and raw emotion. It wasn’t just the end of a race—it was the culmination of a lifetime goal.
